From Uganda: Girl in 20s Healed of AIDS
We received this report today from Ronnie Mutebi in Uganda:
May the resurection of Jesus Christ bring fresh ministry opportunities, open new financial blessings, peace and joy that surpasses all human understanding.
On Easter we had an opportunity to minister at Kabojja Annointed church, it was such a rainy, muddy morning with a heavy down pour. The church, being in a swampy area, was filled with water half way the shoe level. The church is half-way roofed yet the congregation was filled with joy and braved the heavy downpour to continued celebrating the resurrection of our Lord.
A young lady who is in her early twenties (also the church administrator) testified. She was born with HIV, she lost both parents and other siblings to AIDS, and used to get many attacks before she was taken on by pastor Peter as her Adopted daughter. She gave her life to Christ and her life took on a new course.
As far back as she can remember she has been praying and believing God for healing from AIDS and that God may grant her long life. Today she testified that she has been tested four times and the doctors have confirmed that she is HIV negative.
We all know that there is no cure for AIDS, but Jesus Christ has conquered AIDS!
I was filled with joy and touched by the young lady’s testimony. I thought it would encourage someone out there who might be in a similar situation. He heals and He is our only hope, my brother, no matter what you are struggling with!!! Look up to Christ — He is alive! Surrender it all to him; He is faithful and true. He who started the good work in you will see you through. Be faithful to him and let His word be the lamp unto your feet. Take heart. Don’t lose hope. Hang in there for by His stripes we are healed.

Results from Cotonou, Benin, West Africa Mission
New doors have opened in Benin, West Africa to network with like minded ministries by equipping and sharing spiritual insights of God’s Word as WCCM continues to network to expand the Kingdom of God. During revival services, attendees were healed from sickness that had long been incurable and their lives were changed. The WCCM Team shared with eager pastors, evangelists and lay leaders its plans to return and conduct a Benin Life-Giving Leaders Conference/Crusade from October 29 – November 1, 2008, in Cotonou, which some estimates indicate its population may be as many as 1.2 million residence (Wikipedia data).
Pastor John Akanu was healed from chronic back pain. He was standing by himself while others were being prayed for and realized no one had touched him, but his pain was all gone.
A young man in his early 20s gave testimony of having had a kidney illness that had plagued him since high school. A number of doctors told him they could not help him. He could not urinate and doctors had to give him medicine to help with his illness, which was not curring his malfunctions. After prayer, he noticed he had soiled himself, which meant his urinary track had been healed and he was not in pain any more and he was functioning normally again.
There were many others who proclaimed they were healed, however, time was too short to receive all the testimonies.

From Uganda: Life-Giving Leadership spreads
We received this report today from Uganda:
Praise be to the name of the most high God, it’s amazing how God works out things and makes them beautiful in His own timing.
After two years of life giving conference in Uganda, today a testimony is given about the training material. I had a one on one with pastor Peter. He shared with me that the message on faith, spiritual warfare, and prayer have helped him equip his followers, and that its the only material that he has on the above areas.
He also uses the material to train his leaders in the church. He actually confeses that today his church is where it is because of the message on faith and prayer.
I fellowshiped with them last sunday. It was a wonderful time. They are 35 members. The premises where the church is are rented so they can’t have permanent buildings. I also discovered that they don’t have a toilet-they use the swamp behind the church for short calls for long calls they go to public toilet which is some distance away-its pathetic Doctor.
The church has no seats they have improvised with long logs that cut across the room, and mats for seats, he has a comitted congregation who are working hard to support the church.
It is being requested that WCCM have the Life-Giving Leadership material translated into the Lugandan language by Pastor Ronnie Mutebi, WCCM Uganda Representative and a Wilson International University SLAM (Student Leader Access Module) program graduate.
